Pre- Shipment

Pre- Shipment means that the package information or mail item has been given to postal service but yet to be processed through the USPS.

Accepted

If you see “ACCEPTED”, then it means that the mail item has been tendered to the Postal Service physically.

 

In- Transit

If the progress bar shows In-transit then it means that the package is on the way to its final destination

 

Alert

Alert signify some detail or any other possible issue in the shipment of a mail item. Contact customer support for further help in this regard.

Delivered

Delivered means that your package has reached its final destination.

Status Not Available

Status Not Available means that either you’ve entered a wrong tracking number or there are no updates available for that particular tracking number.

Intercept a Package:

This service had been used when it is required to redirect a domestic shipment that has not been delivered or released yet for delivery. Schedule a Redelivery

Missed your package? No worries, USPS offer Redelivery option as well. This is a very useful option as there are chances that you might miss your package due to any possible reason. Forward Mail:

USPS offers another important service which is Forward Mail. Use this service if you’re moving to a new address permanently or just moving for a few months. After updating this, all the packages will be sent to the newly added address. Use this service if you’re making a permanent move or just make a temporary move for as short as 15 days or as long as 1 year. After the first 6 months, you can extend for another 6 months.
